The way the ad is validated on HeedYou is an important part of an advertising process and can make a big difference in how efficient your campaign will be. Depending on a plan you choose, you can make a view validation into a powerful tool that will solidify an ad a user has seen in their mind.
By default, all ads are validated with a simple image captcha. Users have to find an upside-down picture in a group of 5 and click on it. There are no settings available for this validation mode, and it does not serve any purpose beyond verifying that your ad was viewed by a real human being. Available for all plans.
TMIVS - Text Memory Imprinting and Validation System. This is similar to a text captcha you may have seen online many times, except, in this case, the visitors will have to re-type your message.
When you re-type something, you are likely to remember it much better than if you simply read it. Try it out on your own and see how well it works! You can use it to "implant" your idea into the visitors' memory, and when they need something like that next time, your solution is what they are likely to come up with. For example, if you offer VPS services and your unique selling point is unlimited traffic, you can choose "[Your Brand] - VPS with unlimited traffic" as the message.
First, select "TMIVS" in the VIEW VALIDATION section, then click "ADD NEW" to add a message. Once you are done typing it, click on "SAVE" to save it. If you select this mode, you need to add at least one message for it to work.
You can add multiple messages - in that case, one will be picked randomly every time it is time to validate the viewing of your ad. Messages can be edited, deleted, or added at any time - even after your advertisement has been activated.
Available for all plans except GLANCE.
Asking a test question is the ultimate way to make sure that visitors paid attention to your website. You can ask any question that can be answered by looking on your website without scrolling.
It is a good idea to use it to further emphasize the benefits of your website or service. For example, if your unique selling point is a low price, you can ask visitors to select the cost of your service in a test question.
First, select "TEST QUESTION" in the VIEW VALIDATION section, then click "ADD NEW" to create a test question. You should provide a question itself and 4 different answers. Only one of them should be correct. The correct answer should be typed in a field with a green checkmark next to it. Feel free to choose another position for your correct answer by clicking on a red cross next to a field.
You can add multiple test questions - in that case, one will be picked randomly every time it is time to validate the viewing of your ad. We recommend adding at least a few of them to ensure that users keep paying attention in the consequent viewings. Test questions can be edited, deleted, or added at any time - even after your advertisement has been activated.
Users may report a test question for us to review, and we also monitor the test questions for an unusually high failure rate. If we deem a certain test question to be unfair, we can remove it at any time without notice or warning.
Test questions are only available for INSPIRATION and DELIGHT plans. Not compatible with the "Website Tour" feature.
